Coaching Positions with the Southwind Volleyball Club
Southwind Volleyball Club has coaching positions, both head and assistant positions, open for individuals who are interested in coaching youth recreational and competitive volleyball.
Southwind is looking for individuals who have similar personal coaching philosophy as the club and a background in coaching. The club is also willing to work with new coaches if they are committed to becoming quality instructors. All Southwind coaches work through our coaching development program, implemented the summer of 2008.
Coaches enter the club in one of five levels depending on coaching experience, copper, bronze, silver, gold, and national. Within the coaching development program coaches are trained and instructed in various skills of coaching including: communication with athletes, teaching fundamental skills, practice planning, player assessments, team building, and many other topics.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Southwind Volleyball Coaching Staff or would like to find out more information please contact Rachel Magana, director, by email or phone, 913.515.7757.
