Southwind Volleyball Club Seasonal Leagues

Southwind Volleyball Club provides opportunities for young athletes to participate in recreational and intermediate leagues.Teams compete in the Johnson County Parks and Recreation District's volleyball leagues which compete at the Okun Field House.

Fall League: For athletes who do not have school volleyball programs Southwind offers the fall league teams. With volleyball being the primary sport in the school setting Southwind manages the fall teams with an expectation of being the primary sport for that season. Expectations for athletes and families include making accommodations to attend team practices and competition.

Winter League: Currently Southwind does not carry winter teams outside of the Junior Olympic teams but is working towards providing league opportunities for 6th thru 8th graders who do not participate in the Junior Olympics program.

Spring League: Currently Southwind does not carry spring teams outside of the Junior Olympic teams but is working towards providing league opportunities for 6th thru 8th graders who do not participate in Junior Olympics.

Summer League: During the summer months Southwind offers summer leagues to allow athletes an opportunity to practice their skills while competing. The summer league is designed for athletes who play multiple sports with only one practice a week.

South League: For athletes who have been committed to play (or being consider to play) with Southwind Volleyball Club during the club season we offer competitive teams in the South league competition.
